A NEW WAY TO BE HEREIn development

The same reality.
A new world of sound.

An audio platform where sounds and stories change with your surroundings and what you do.

Familiar places. Scenes you have yet to hear.SCROLL TO DISCOVER

A new scene in sound,
in the world around you.

ARP brings together works made from music, voices and other sounds, heard through your phone and earphones. Some tell a story; others create a mood through sound alone.

Turn a corner and the story might continue. Stay a while and another sound might join in. The creator decides what each work responds to—such as time, surroundings or movement—and how it changes.

Stories, music and sound art each offer a different way to listen. We are developing ideas for works to experience on a walk or while resting in one place.

Tools to create.
An app to listen.

We are developing a tool for choosing sounds and deciding when they play, alongside an app for listening to the resulting works. ARP will bring making and experiencing these works into one platform.

The platform

01 / CREATE

Create · Creator Studio

A tool for arranging music, voices and other sounds, and deciding what changes with time, place, movement and more.

02 / EXPERIENCE

Listen · ARP

An app for finding and choosing works, then following their guidance through your phone and earphones.

Let’s work together.

We welcome creators, people who run spaces, and partners who want to make new experiences with sound and stories.

01 / CREATORS

Creative collaboration

We would like to exchange ideas with musicians, sound artists and storytellers—from the sounds in a work to how it responds.

Discuss a work
02 / SPACES

Spaces & institutions

Let’s imagine a work for your exhibition, hotel or cultural space, shaped around the place and the time visitors spend there.

03 / PARTNERS

Business & investment partnerships

We are looking for ways to keep bringing new works to listeners and sustain the platform. We welcome business and investment proposals.

Questions & answers

Can I use ARP now?

ARP has not launched yet. We are developing the creation tool and listening app. Launch dates and opportunities to try ARP will be shared by email.

What will I need?

A smartphone and earphones are the starting point. Supported devices and other requirements will be announced when the works are released.

Does it only work in specific places?

It depends on the work. We are considering works for particular routes or spaces, as well as listening at home or during everyday life. Time, surroundings and movement can also shape a work.

How is it different from other audio content?

Where you go or how long you stay can change the arrangement of sounds or the order of a story. Creators compose these changes as part of the work, alongside the sounds themselves.

How are location and microphone access used?

This website does not request location or microphone access. The app’s data use and permissions will be explained before release.

How do you consider surroundings and safety?

Keep the volume low enough to hear your surroundings. Stop somewhere safe before using your screen.
